Privacy Policy
1. Information We Collect
Herely does not ask you to create an account, and the App does not collect your name, email address, or phone number.
Stored only on your device:
- Which moments you've added to your home screen
- Which moments you've listened to today, and your total Mindful Minutes
- Your settings, such as reminders and ambient sound
We do not collect precise location data, contacts, photos, or microphone/camera access. If a future feature needs any of these, it will ask for your permission separately and this policy will be updated first.
If you email us, we receive your email address and message, and we use them only to reply to you.
2. How We Use Your Information
The information stored on your device is used only to run the App: remembering your moments, your gold marks for the day, and your Mindful Minutes. If you turn on reminders, your phone schedules a single notification that appears if you haven't opened Herely for about 48 hours. That notification is created and delivered by your phone, and nothing about it is sent to us.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. Because the App does not send your information to us, we have nothing to share. When you download Herely or subscribe, Apple or Google process that transaction under their own privacy policies, and we do not receive your payment card details. We may disclose information we hold, such as emails you send us, to legal authorities only if required by law.
4. Data Storage & Security
Herely does not operate a server or cloud backend. Your information, including which moments you've added and your listening history, is stored only on your own device and is never uploaded anywhere. Your device's own encryption (active automatically when your phone has a passcode set) protects this information. Deleting the App, or your data within it, removes it immediately, since no copy exists anywhere else. If Herely later introduces account sync or other features that require storing data on a server, this policy will be updated first to describe exactly what changes.
5. Your Rights
Because your information stays on your device, you control it: you can delete it at any time by removing the App or clearing its data. If you have emailed us, you can ask us to delete those emails, or ask what we hold about you, by writing to the address below.
6. Children's Privacy
Herely is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under this age. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the App. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
